Status: Cross Stitch finished.
I think I'm just going to let the pictures speak for themselves, because I've run out of words when it comes to this project.
If you're going to the Sydney Royal Easter Show, it will be exhibited in the Arts and Crafts Show.
That is amazing! Wish I could see it in person! :)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and inspirational!
ReplyDeleteI'm blown away by all the detail! How big is this? And how long did it take?
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Congrats on finishing.
ReplyDeletePaige, it's 500 stitches across and in height, so my husband figures that's about 165,000 stitches (!!!). I think about 80cms across.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's taken about three and a half years (but it's not the only thing I've been doing).
I don't have any words for this - it's amazing!
ReplyDeleteJust wow. So soft and so beautiful. You must have an awful lot of patience!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous. You are so talented (and patient). Wow!!

ReplyDeleteStunning. I used to do cross stitch (haven't for a few years - I think I burnt myself out stitching a largeish piece for a present), so I know how much hard work goes into such a detailed piece like that. Well done, it looks amazing!
